While Girls of her age thought of Cinderella, Barbie &
Pretty dresses,
She wrote for a Revolution in her province.
Malala Yousafzai was born and brought up in Swat valley of
northwest Pakistan before she had to leave her homeland.
At the age of 12, in 2009 Malala Yousafzai started Blogging
in BBC(British Broad Casting)
When the Taliban went around destroying schools and edicted
a law against Girls going to school, Malala wrote against it.
She wrote by the pseudonym "Gul Makai"
She is an Living Example of the quote "Pen is mightier
than the sword", or in this case Guns.
Gun fire was all that was heard in those days in Swat valley,
Pakistan.
She was petrified, but she wrote!
The titles of some of her Blog posts read as follows:
Episode # 1: 3 JANUARY 2009 : I AM AFRAID
Episode # 2: 4 JANUARY 2009 : I HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL
Episode # 3: 5 JANUARY 2009 : DON NOT WEAR COLORFUL DRESSES
Episode # 4: 14 JANUARY 2009 : I MAY NOT GO TO SCHOOL AGAIN
Episode # 5: 15 JANUARY 2009 : INTERRUPTED SLEEP

That is not all, the pseudonym didn't help her as Talibans came
to know of her identity.
She was shot by a Taliban while on her way back from School
on 9th Oct 2012.
The bullet went through the foreskin of her head into her
shoulder.
The whole of the world was in shock and waited for days, as she remained unconscious.
Her treatment started in Peshwar, the bullet was removed. Yet she was in danger, and was shifted to Rawalpindi for further treatment. She recovered from her coma in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, England where she was taken for rehabilitation. After more surgery and treatments she came out healthy.

SHOT IN THE HEAD & SURVIVED, this Girl had a greater destiny
to achieve.
Today at the age of 17, she shares Noble Peace Prize with
Indian Child activists Kailash Satyarthi
